Note: Douglas Ford is the son of Adelona (Addie) Curtis Ford and Pettus (Pettis, also recorded as Piater) Ford. He was born on Nov. 21, 1923 in Mobile. And died Nov. 5, 1993.  The family is also recorded as using the last name of “Fort”.

Douglas Ford married Nettie Lou Motley (b. 1924, fa Wyatt Motley) on Feb. 15, 1942. In the 1940 Census, Nettie is referred to as “Nellie Motley”.
